First things first, here are the tools you will need.

Razor Blade
Sharpie
Ruler
Fabric/Foam Adhesive
Basic set of tools (Screwdriver, ratchet set, etc.)

I got my Adhesive from ebay when I ordered carpet and this stuff worked pretty well.

After you gather your tools and have a good area to work you should go about removing your factory headrest. It differs from vehicle to vehicle so I cannot tell you how to remove it. If you have not removed the monitor from the shroud do so now.

You can then either measure the shroud or you can take a chance and just outline it with the sharpie or you can do both. In this case I did both. Once you measure and have it set as to where you want the monitor to go either use your ruler to draw the lines on the headrest or you can trace the shroud. Like I said I did both.

Then double check to make sure your measurements are correct and then get the razor blade out and cut on the INSIDE of the line just to be on the safe side.

After you have cut around the full square remove the piece of fabric.. admin note ( I would recommend making an X cut from upper left corner to lower right and upper right to lower left..then you will have 4 flaps. Trim the flaps to just enough to be folded into the hole under the monitor..this prevents fraying and makes the install super clean)

After the fabric is removed you can now either start to cut the foam from the headrest or you can just pull it out piece by piece. I feel the pulling worked a lot faster than using a blade but you can do which ever.

When I was done pulling there was around 1.5” of space in the headrest. The shroud only needed a little more than 1” but that’s ok.

After you have all of your foam removed its time for a test fitment. It more than likely will not fit on the first try as mine did not. I then began cutting little piece by piece just to make sure that it would fit but I would also have a very snug and tight fitment. Once you get it to fit you can then remove it again and move onto the next step.

The next step will be running the wire through the headrest. I just got the razor blade and cut right where the seams met so it had a very hidden look to it.

Find the blade on the inside of the headrest then remove the blade and put a finger or two where the hole is. Run the wire from the monitor through this hole.

You can now place the monitor into the shroud and spray the inside of the HEADREST with the adhesive. Do NOT spray the monitor or it will more than likely get into it and destroy it. After the headrest is sprayed then put the shroud with the monitor in it and push it down into the headrest and then wait a little bit for the adhesive to dry.

You can now move onto your second headrest while your waiting for the adhesive to dry and when you finish the second headrest you can run the wires through the seat for the first one. I personally found it easier to remove my seat because I could not access the clip that had to be removed to get into the seat. Once you seat is remove put a small slice in the top of the seat with the razor and place the wire into the hole and pull it through.

You can then replace the seat into the car and replace the headrest making sure that the wire is pulled all the way through so you cannot see loose wire hanging. After everything is replaced all you have to do now is wire the monitors up to 12V and Ground and then hook it up to your Multimedia Head unit or an external DVD player and your all set to go.

Thanks for the write up Ryan...nice job!
